Thursday, December 6, 2012: Jurisprudence and the inherent, Inalienable Rights & Freedoms, so cherished by the majority of Canadians, were tossed out the window with the bathwater when the Supreme Court of Canada rejected the application by Howard Galganov and Jean-Serge Brisson, to have the Russell Township Bilingual Sign Bylaw ruling overturned. The CLF are proud supporters of Howard Galganov and Jean Serge Brisson in their fight for our freedom of expression under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, against onerous forced bilingual sign bylaws.
